The 10 acre piece doesn’t have running water, so we must haul it over to them every day. So animal handling equipment is right up there.Īs most of the animals are on pasture while they are here, we have a lot of feeding equipment that moves with them. But we move the animals a lot, cows daily, chickens weekly, layers every few days. So naturally the 2 vehicles that can move things came first. I recently did a search on my Facebook Golden Oak farm page for “moving” and was astounded at how much stuff we move on this farm each year. Because of our disabilities, these are the things most important to us here at Golden Oak Farm. I expect this varies widely from farmstead and homestead. Most farms and homesteads have some sort of equipment that is in everyday use.
